In a recent article, IELTS.org, the website of the controlling body of IELTS – the International English Language Testing System, has announced that, in 2011, 1.7 million took the IELTS test. This represents a 12% increase on the numbers from 2010. IELTS.org has stated that the increase is due to larger numbers of educational institutions using IELTS as their standard for English language evaluation of their future students. This number has now risen to over 7000.
With an increased market, the implications for IELTS practice tests are clear. There are more students who will be looking for practice in different ways. There will also be more institutions offering IELTS training and those institutions already offering preparation courses will expand their capacity.
In 2013, ieltshelpnow.com will adapt to this changing market in a number of ways. Our IELTS practice tests range will increase from 10 to 15 and another set of 5 will be written. Ieltshelpnow.com will also push their online sales as well as approach training institutions. Work on Apps will also start and the plan is to launch apps before the start of 2014.
The new IELTS practice tests will be launched early in 2013. The final proof reading stages are being finished and the listening recordings will be delivered before Christmas.
